MWTi-5 Titanium Welding Wire

MWTi-5 (6Al-4V) ERTi-5 Titanium Welding Wire offers exceptionally high strength and is widely used in aerospace, marine, chemical processing, power generation, oil and gas extraction, medical, and sports industries.

Welding Properties MWTi-5 provides excellent weldability and can be heat-treated to achieve higher strength or toughness. It is commonly used in aircraft components such as landing gear, wing spars, and compressor blades. Its corrosion resistance is comparable to Grade 2, making it ideal for applications requiring both high strength and resistance to oxidation, particularly in shafts, high-strength bolting, and keys.

The weld deposit is highly ductile and offers superior corrosion resistance in oxidizing environments. This alloy’s unique combination of mechanical strength and corrosion resistance makes it a preferred choice for demanding welding applications. Additionally, the wire undergoes a specialized cleaning process to ensure a porosity-free and ductile weld deposit.
