MWTi-7 Titanium Welding Wire

MWTi-7 (ERTi-7) Titanium Welding Wire is widely used in the aerospace industry due to its excellent strength-to-weight ratio. It is also commonly utilized in petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries, as well as in heat exchangers, pipes, and valves.

Welding Properties

MWTi-7 Grade 7 titanium offers superior corrosion resistance compared to Grade 2, thanks to the addition of 0.12-0.25% palladium, while maintaining similar mechanical properties. The resulting weld deposit is highly ductile and provides outstanding resistance to oxidation. Its unique combination of mechanical strength and corrosion resistance makes it a preferred choice for various applications, helping to prevent or resolve operational challenges. Additionally, the wire undergoes a specialized cleaning process to ensure a porous and ductile weld deposit.
